Back to School Book Covering Party - Monday September 8th! drop in between 2pm-8pm to make a creative bookcover, complete a survey, and enter to win a collection of school supplies!
September is LIBRARY CARD SIGN-UP month!!
If you know someone who doesn't yet have a Library Card, bring them to the Library this month and we will be happy to get them registered for one! And if YOU don't have a Library card, why not stop by and get one for yourself?
Remember -- Library Cards are free and they are one of the best things you can give your child for the new school year.

Parking at the Library During Construction
You may have noticed the large construction project next to the Library. As much as we wish this were a new library building, alas it is not. A new mixed-use commerical / residential development is under construction. During this time the Library's parking lot has been overrun with construction equipment and debris. Parking is therefore tricky. It is suggested that Library patrons make use of the following parking options:
Along Main Street
In the lot at Steve's Auto Parts
At Clyde Brown Elementary School
At Veterans Memorial Building
We hope to regain full use of our parking lot by late September. In the meantime, please use caution when parking or walking through the back parking lot.

Cool Off At the Library ......
Is the heat getting you down? Looking for a cool place to spend a few hours? Come to the Millis Public Library and take advantage of our air conditioned space. Find an interesting book or magazine, curl up in a chair in Dora's Room, and read in the coolness of the Library.
