    Now it’s easier than ever to reserve a pass to a local museum…just visit the Millis Public Library’s homepage and navigate to MUSEUM PASSES! You can reserve passes up to sixty days ahead of your intended visit.

Museum passes offered by the Millis Public Library are available to all Millis residents. A valid library card is required in order to reserve and check out a pass. If you check out a pass that has to be returned to the Library, we ask that you drop it off in the book drop on your way back from the museum—that way it will be available for the next patron!

Massachusetts State Parks Pass

The Massachusetts State Parks Pass entitles the bearer to free parking at over 50 facilities in the MA state parks system that charge a day-use parking fee.  This year, the State Parks Pass has added Nantasket Beach and Nahant Beach to the list of facilities accepting the pass.  (Quabbin Reservoir is excluded).  A fee of $2.00 to $7.00 is charged at most locations between Memorial Day and Columbus Day, and a few charge a parking fee year-round.

A Day in Pompee on exhibit October 2 - February 12, 2012.  A Day in Pompee requires a separate ticket purchase.  For Museum Pass holders; tickets will be $11 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $9 for children 3-11, with a maximum purchase of four tickets per Library museum pass (this is in addition to the cost per person for the general Exhibit Halls with your Museum Pass.)  This special rate is available to the Library museum pass holder only for the date shown on the museum pass and is based on availability of tickets.  Tickets must be purchased in-person only and patrons must have their Library Museum Pass in hand at time of purchase.  It is recommended to arrive early in the day as entry times sell our quickly.  Museum Pass holders may purchase Exhibit tickets in advance, but will need to buy the Exhibit tickets in person and have the actual Library Museum Pass with the correct future date to see A Day in Pompeii.  Please call the LIbrary with any questions.

New England Aquarium

The 200,000 gallon tank is the centerpiece of the New England New England Aquarium
Aquarium, and it is one of the region's most popular underwater exhibits. The reef accommodates not only sharks, sea turtles, barracuda and moray, but also hundreds of smaller exotic tropical fishes and it is one of the most detailed and scientifically accurate recreations of its kind.   Not valid during July and August.
