Free Downloads for Kindles now Available through Overdrive Collection!
For a free download for your kindle through our Overdrive Collection:
1. Open an internet browser and go to the Digital Media Catalog website.

2. Click on the 'SIGN IN' tab at the top right corner of the page.
3. Type your library card number with no spaces, then your PIN. Successfully entering your card number and PIN
will bring you to the My Digital Media Account page. To browse for titles to read, click on the "Home" tab.
4. To find ebooks available to check out immediately, click on the "Advanced Search" link. On the Format
drop-down menu, choose Kindle. Click the check box to show only available ebooks. Click "Search".
5. To start the checkout process, click on "add to cart". Make sure to click on the "add to cart" that is paired with
"Kindle Book."
6. Click on "Proceed to Checkout." Choose your checkout period - 7 days, 14 days, or 21 days--then click
"Confirm Checkout". Click on "Get for Kindle" Click on "Get library book".
7. If you have an Amazon account, enter your email address and password. If not, click on "new customer".
8. Choose the device to which you wish to deliver the ebook. Click "Continue". Your ebook has now been delivered
to your device.
IMPORTANT: Your ebook can be uploaded to your Kindle only by wifi and/or USB.
How to Return A Kindle eBook Early
Any eBook checked out on the Kindle is returned through Amazon--even books downloaded from the Library Overdrive Account!
Go to www.amazon.com and from the Kindle menu on the right, select "Manage Your Kindle".
Sign in to your Amazon account. Select the "Actions" dropdown menu next to the book you want to return.
(Tip: avoid selecting "Delete from library", as this will delete the book from your Kindle Library but WILL NOT return it)
Select "Yes" to return the book.
After you return the book, it will still show in Your Kindle Library list. To remove it from the list, select Actions again, and from the dropdown menu select "Delete from library".

Free and easy to use from your home or work computer
Overdrive Audio Books are be available to anyone with a Millis Public Library card.
Explore the growing collection of audio books and use your library card to download audio books to your computer, transfer them to an MP3 player, or burn selected titles onto a CD for listening to while on the go. Available 24/7, now your library is always open!
How does it work? It’s easy! First, you need your Library card. Then go to http://digital.minlib.net. Install the free media software to checkout and download your books. You can transfer the audio book to an MP3 player or burn some selected titles to a CD and enjoy your audio books.
The first time that you check out materials, you will be provided with instructions to download the free software that you need. You will also be provided with information about compatible MP3 devices.
The loan period is seven days, and a title may be downloaded three times during that period. Up to three audio books may be checked out at any time and they will check back in automatically at the end of the loan period.
This program is intended for use from home. While patrons can browse this collection and checkout an audio book from a Library computer, they will not be able to download the book at the library.
