January 30 from 6:30 to 7:30 – Nia Dance Basics with Marcia Coakley

Nia is a fun movement workout experience for a mix of ages and abilities. It increases body awareness and fitness as well as mind/body integration. Engaging vibrant dancers and former non-movers, Nia encourages everybody and all levels in nine dance, martial, and healing arts to develop flexibility, agility, mobility, strength, and stability.

When we are not in control of our energies, we are living by accident rather than living intentionally. Most often we are the passenger being driven through life at the whim of our patterned thinking and emotional reactions. In this Mindful Living class, you will be introduced to methods to enable you to sit in the driver’s seat and take control of your life’s direction and destination.

 

February 13 from 6:30 to 7:30 – Tai Chi with Ed Williamson

Although Tai Chi is a Martial Art, the emphasis in this class is on internal movement of chi for greater health, awareness, balance and strength.
