With the deepest regret, we must announce that Joan Dikun, our cataloger and great friend, passed away this weekend. Joan had worked at the Millis Public Library since 1996 and in those 19 years became a favorite of the community and of her colleagues.
We are honored that she chose to spend her last years with us, and we will miss her greatly.
Visitation hours will be held at the Roberts-Mitchell Funeral Home at 90 Curve Street in Millis on Tuesday, December 22, from 4 until 7pm and funeral services will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 82 Exchange Street in Millis at 10am on Wednesday, December 23. The Millis Public Library will open at noon on Wednesday in order to allow staff to attend the funeral.
